About the Roswell Homeless Coalition

The Roswell Homeless Coalition is comprised of community organizations, religious groups, and passionate individuals that are all seeking a solution to end homelessness in Roswell. A recent point in time survey has identified the rising number of individuals and families experiencing homelessness within our community. We serve our community by providing emergency shelter and access to resources to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness. We not only want to shelter but address the reasoning of how some individuals and families may find themselves facing homelessness. We recently have formed viable partnership with organizations to help assist with city issued identification cards, addiction recovery services, income support services, Veterans Services, GED classes, health services, behavioral health, food assistance and job skills training.

As we help to meet these basic needs for those experiencing homelessness, our only source of operational and building funds is based solely off our community support of donations and in-kind services. The shelter doors would not have opened without the outpour of giving last Christmas season. As we approach another season, the coalition is hopeful that the community will again participate and contribute to assist our most vulnerable, broken and hurting community members. The proceeds from the Rock, Run & Roll will be used to support the operational funds to ensure that the doors to the shelters will continue to stay open.
