The Mercy Run is a first year race. The name of the race comes from the name of the organization that is hosting it: Eleos Global Ministries. Eleos is the Greek word for mercy. We have thus come up with the name "Mercy Run." We purposefully scheduled the race to be on Easter weekend as a reminder of Jesus' sacrifice for us and the mercy that come with it. This event is a fundraiser for EGM. Eleos Global Ministries is based in Magnolia, AR and does work all over the world. Our mission at Eleos is, "Love God. Love Others. Change the World." We do this by telling those who we encounter through our ministry of the salvation that God has so freely offered us. While trying to help the spiritual needs of those we encounter, we also help with their physical needs as well. We do this by providing clean water (through filters), renewable food (through aquaponics), and renewable energy (through solar panels). All proceeds from this race will go toward ministry and helping those in need.

Register here at Races Online by March 31st at 9:00 PM to get a free tee shirt.
