The 9th Annual Harvest Moon 5k Run takes place in Historic Route 66 State Park after dark on Saturday, October 12th. Proceeds benefit the Eureka Food Pantry and Eureka-Pacific Elks Lodge Weekend Backpack Food Program.
Runners and walkers alike will enjoy the mostly flat race course through Route 66 State Park for this one of a kind night run. Pathlighters will be “aglow” at every turn lighting your steps as you zip by on your way to the moonlit finish line. 5k participants will get an Energizer headlamp to light your path!
New this year - Kids 10 and under can race for FREE in either the Moon Dude Dash which is reserved for kids 4yr. and under or the Moonie Mile which has two Moonie age groups: 5-7yr. and 8-10yr. Swag not included. Donate $10 or more for headlamp and $12 for a youth medium or $15 for an adult size t-shirt on registration.
5K only (Moon Dude Dashers/Milers can purchase swag during registration)
Register by midnight on October 9th and receive guaranteed size long-sleeve t-shirt and a headlamp.
Register October 10th-October 12th and receive long-sleeve t-shirt (size not guaranteed) and headlamp.
Register the Day of the Race and receive a headlamp while supplies last. T-shirt not guaranteed.
