Coppell Virtual 5K benefitting Coppell Special Olympics. Due to current parks construction we are opting to provide a VIRTUAL Coppell 5K. What this means is that you are still able to participate in our 5K, but you are able to do so at your convenience. You are welcome to map out your own route, or we can provide you with a sidewalk based route that begins at Andy Brown East. Click here for the Map. If you enjoy the community atmosphere of the Coppell 5K, please join us on Saturday, May 7th at 8am for a Get You In Shape sponsored workout and provide you with an optional 5K route that you could participate in.

The mission of Special Olympics Texas is to provide year round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic type sports. For the past 6 years, the Coppell 5K has been supporting our local Coppell Special Olympics Athletes. We have been able to raise over $40,000 to support their various sports such as bowling, soccer, aquatics, track and field, basketball, cheerleading, volleyball and bocce. Each of these events requires rental fees, uniforms, supplies and travel, expenses that reoccur annually. The support and sponsorship for the local community has been outstanding. Our goal for the 7th Annual Coppell "Virtual" 5K is to continue to rally around these athletes with special needs and provide the financial support that this great organization needs.

If you register past April 26th, you may not be able to get the size t-shirt that you want.
