Join us for the 7th Annual Bare Hill Triathlon a scenic sprint triathlon through our beautiful town of Harvard, MA. The triathlon begins with a 1/2 mi swim in serene Bare Hill Pond, followed by an 11 mile bike ride and 3.2 road race through rolling terrain alongside apple orchards and horse farms in the Nashua River Valley. Enjoy our vendors, food, and music throughout the event. (New Bike and Run Course)

Entry Fees

Race Day Packet Pick Up:

All packet pick up is done race morning. We open 1:30 minutes before the start of the event.

Emails will be sent usually Thursday prior to race with any specific details.

Race Venue Activities

Come to race, but stay for the festivities. Your triathlon experience includes a DJ playing great music, yummy post race treats, and sponsor giveaways.

Race Divisions and Awards

Standard USA Triathlon age group divisions in five year increments are employed for this event, for example: 30 to 34 years, 35 to 39 years, etc. Age group is determined by age as of December 31, 2018. There is a Clydesdale category for men who weigh 220+ pounds and an Athena category for women who weight 165+ pounds. Also there is a relay category for three person teams.

Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group, and in the Clydesdale and Athena divisions, and to all three members of the top male relay team, top female relay team, and mixed relay team. And a random award or two may be given out at the race director's discretion.

While Lions have a global focus on helping the blind and visually impaired, we also support many other causes including numerous local community programs and charitable organizations. Our club is currently comprised of 60 local men and women of all ages and backgrounds. We share an interest in helping others, meeting new people in town and making an impact on our community and beyond.
