A perennial favorite, the Wrentham Duathlon is this region's multisport season opener. With its festive atmosphere and carefully planned race course, this professionally organized event is a wonderful way to kick off your race season.

The single loop run routes are flat, fast and spectator-friendly making it easy for family and friends to watch their favorite athletes during the run segments. There are two water stations on the run course.
The scenic, single loop bike route covers varied terrain with just enough hills to keep the athletes entertained. Bike support will be provided on the bike course
, but bring a spare tire tube for the mechanic to use for changing a flat tire. There are no water stations on the bike course so bring a water bottle on your bike.
Race Venue Activities

Race Divisions and Awards
USA Triathlon age group divisions in five year increments are employed
for this event, for example: 30 to 34 years, 35 to 39 years, etc. Age
group is determined by age as of December 31, 2017. There is a
Clydesdale category for men who weigh 220+ pounds and an Athena category
for women who weight 165+ pounds. Also there is a relay category for
two person teams.
are given to the top three finishers in each age group, and in the
Clydesdale and Athena divisions, and to both members of the top male
relay team, top female relay team, and mixed relay team. And a random
award or two may be given out at the race director's discretion.

parking at the fairgrounds.
